Blending design with its natural surroundings, the field features hybrid bluegrass in the outfield and a durable clay mix in the infield, mirroring professional standards. Nestled among woods and overlooking Fisher\u2019s Creek, its rustic dugouts and setting give it a distinct character. The complex supports <a href=\"https:\/\/smcmathletics.com\/sports\/mtrack\">men\u2019s track<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/smcmathletics.com\/sports\/womens-track-and-field\">women\u2019s track<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/smcmathletics.com\/sports\/mens-lacrosse\">men\u2019s lacrosse <\/a>and <a href=\"https:\/\/smcmathletics.com\/sports\/womens-lacrosse\">women\u2019s lacrosse<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/smcmathletics.com\/sports\/mens-soccer\">men\u2019s soccer <\/a>and<a href=\"https:\/\/smcmathletics.com\/sports\/womens-soccer\"> women\u2019s soccer<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/smcmathletics.com\/sports\/field-hockey\">women's field hockey<\/a> while serving as a valuable resource for both campus and the broader community. Located between the two fields, the stadium building includes two men\u2019s and two women\u2019s locker rooms, a referee locker room, training room, restrooms, concessions, VIP boxes, two press boxes, and a hospitality suite. The College named the stadium in honor of Jamie, a 2011 alumna and three-sport athlete who embodied its core values and was tragically killed in June 2014. Jamie L. Roberts Stadium is located across Mattapany Road from the Michael P. O'Brien Athletic &amp; Recreation Center.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-1446-5\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-has-style\" ><div id=\"arc\" class=\"panel-row-style panel-row-style-for-1446-5\" ><div id=\"pgc-1446-5-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-1446-5-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-title panel-first-child\" data-index=\"14\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-title so-widget-smcm-title-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><h2 class=\"smcm-section-title navy\" style=\"\">MPOBARC <strong>Arena<\/strong><\/h2><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-1446-5-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_sow-editor panel-last-child\" data-index=\"15\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-sow-editor so-widget-sow-editor-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t>\n<div class=\"siteorigin-widget-tinymce textwidget\">\n\t<p>The Michael P. O\u2019Brien Athletics &amp; Recreation Center Arena is home to St. Mary\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/smcmathletics.com\/sports\/mens-basketball\">men's basketball<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/smcmathletics.com\/sports\/womens-basketball\">women\u2019s basketball<\/a> teams and the Seahawk <a href=\"https:\/\/smcmathletics.com\/sports\/womens-volleyball\">women's volleyball program<\/a>, featuring seating for 1,200 fans and a hardwood maple court named in honor of Hall of Fame coach Ed Cole. Since opening in spring 2005 as part of the renovation and expansion of Somerset Hall, the 110,000 square-foot facility has also included an Olympic size 50-meter swimming pool and an expanded fitness center. The arena has hosted the NCAA Division III Men\u2019s Basketball Championship Tournament First and Second Rounds in 2010 and 2011, as well as the 2010 sectional rounds.
