St. Mary’s is committed to treating all members of the community with dignity, care, and respect. Any individual who experiences or is affected by any form of sexual misconduct including sexual harassment, sexual violence, stalking, intimate partner violence whether as a Complainant (the survivor), a Respondent (the accused), or a third party (someone other who was effected, or is stepping forward on the Complainant’s behalf), you will have equal access to support and counseling services through the College.
The College encourages all individuals to seek assistance from a medical provider and/or law enforcement immediately after an incident of sexual violence. This is the best option to ensure preservation of evidence and to begin a timely investigative and remedial response.
