Here at St. Mary\u2019s College of Maryland, Federal Work-Study is managed by the Office of Student Financial Assistance (OSFA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">To find out whether you are eligible, apply through <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">FAFSA<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Check the box that says you would like to be considered for Federal Work-Study funding. Some last a full academic year. This is a State of Maryland regulation and must be followed exactly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b><i>Example:<\/i><\/b><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> During the summer, Solomon works 25 hours a week as an Axolotl Caretaker. He takes a second job as a Peer Health Educator. The maximum hours he can work at the second job is 15. (25 + 15 = 40).<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Remember to focus on your success as a student first. Never schedule working hours during class time, and communicate all schedule requirements to your supervisor.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"pg-500-6\"  class=\"panel-grid panel-no-style\" ><div id=\"pgc-500-6-0\"  class=\"panel-grid-cell\" ><div id=\"panel-500-6-0-0\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-title panel-first-child\" data-index=\"15\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-title so-widget-smcm-title-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><h2 class=\"smcm-section-title navy\" style=\"\">What <strong>Different Types of On-Campus<\/strong> Jobs Are Available?<\/h2><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-500-6-0-1\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_text panel-last-child\" data-index=\"16\" >\t\t\t<div class=\"textwidget\"><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There are a variety of on-campus opportunities available on <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/joinhandshake.com\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Handshake<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> in many different departments. These include part-time jobs, summer jobs, internships, volunteer positions, research opportunities, and career positions.
