In 2004, the award was named in honor of the Arts Alliance chair, 1988-1993.<\/p>\n<p>This year's recipient is Samantha White. After graduation, she plans to continue her art journey by pursuing freelance opportunities.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-169-0-0-2\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-accordion\" data-index=\"2\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-accordion so-widget-smcm-accordion-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"smcm-accordion  navy\"><div class=\"title-container\"><h3>Gale West Parmentier Arts Alliance Award for Creative Writing<\/h3><i class=\"fa-solid fa-plus open-close\" ><\/i><\/div><div class=\"smcm-accordion-content\"> <div class=\"smcm-ac-content-wrapper\"><p>Established in 1992 by the Arts Alliance of St. Mary\u2019s College of Maryland to recognize excellence in creative writing. In 1999, the award was named in honor of the Arts Alliance chair, 1993-1998.<\/p>\n<p>This year's recipient is Brigid Mulholland. After graduation, Mulholland plans to work before pursuing an advanced degree.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-169-0-0-3\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-accordion\" data-index=\"3\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-accordion so-widget-smcm-accordion-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"smcm-accordion  navy\"><div class=\"title-container\"><h3>Barbara Bershon Arts Alliance Award in Music<\/h3><i class=\"fa-solid fa-plus open-close\" ><\/i><\/div><div class=\"smcm-accordion-content\"> <div class=\"smcm-ac-content-wrapper\"><p>Established in 1991 by the Arts Alliance of St. Mary\u2019s College of Maryland to recognize excellence in music. In 2004, the award was named in honor of the Arts Alliance chair, 1998-2003.<\/p>\n<p>This year's recipient is\u00a0DeAvanti Levy.\u00a0 After graduation, Levy is considering graduate school for music.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-169-0-0-4\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-accordion\" data-index=\"4\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-accordion so-widget-smcm-accordion-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"smcm-accordion  navy\"><div class=\"title-container\"><h3>Kathy Glockner Arts Alliance Award for Theater Excellence<\/h3><i class=\"fa-solid fa-plus open-close\" ><\/i><\/div><div class=\"smcm-accordion-content\"> <div class=\"smcm-ac-content-wrapper\"><p>Established in 1992 by the Arts Alliance of St. Mary\u2019s College of Maryland to recognize excellence in theater. In 2009, the award was named in honor of the Arts Alliance chair, 2003-2008.<\/p>\n<p>This year's recipient is\u00a0Jay Valdesere. After graduation, Valdesere plans to pursue a career in technical theater.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div id=\"panel-169-0-0-5\" class=\"so-panel widget widget_smcm-accordion panel-last-child\" data-index=\"5\" ><div\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\tclass=\"so-widget-smcm-accordion so-widget-smcm-accordion-base\"\n\t\t\t\n\t\t><div class=\"smcm-accordion  navy\"><div class=\"title-container\"><h3>Virginia M.
