- Intended for advanced pianists of all ages (serious amateurs welcome); admission is by audition tape (recorded live performance), teacher recommendation, and curriculum vitae or other description of piano experience (support materials are optional for returning participants).
- Pianists come for the complete four-day festival, perform in the opening event on Friday evening, perform in two Master Classes, observe all other Master Classes, receive one private lesson, attend professional recitals, participate in “Piano Festival Participants’ Recital”.

“Day Participant”
- Intended for pianists of all ages who are at the early-intermediate level and above; applicant should include curriculum vitae or other description of piano experience (years and location of study, etc.) and a letter of recommendation from a current teacher or other qualified professional (support materials are optional for returning participants).
- Pianists come for one day – August 28, 29 or 30 — perform in one Master Class, observe the other Master Class, attend a professional recital; option to perform in “Piano Festival Participants’ Recital”.
- Option to add a private lesson for an additional $75.
- Option to attend Piano Fest events other three days as auditors, free of charge, including opening event on Friday evening, August 30.
