Our seminar and conference rooms are perfect for smaller groups and workshops, offering intimate simplicity and state-of-the-art technology.<\/p>\n<p>For larger groups our traditional classrooms, lecture halls, Glendening Annex and Blackistone Room provide professional and comfortable accommodations. Daugherty-Palmer Commons is home to the annual VOICES Reading Series, which brings authors from around the world to speak with a river sunset as their backdrop. Plus, historic St. Mary\u2019s Hall hosts countless concerts and performances, from student dance recitals to the annual presentation of Handel\u2019s Messiah by the St. Mary\u2019s Chamber Singers.<\/p>\n<p>Can you picture your next public address or performance at St. Mary\u2019s College? Whether you have an audience of twenty or two hundred, our facilities can accommodate you. The Seahawk Stadium is perfect for soccer, lacrosse, and field hockey, as are our numerous practice fields. We have two indoor arenas for basketball, volleyball, and more.<\/p>\n<p>However, our recreation facilities are for more than sports. The Michael P. O\u2019Brien Athletics &amp; Recreation Center (MPOARC) Arena* can be set up as an auditorium for large lectures or ceremonies up to 2000. And for those in need of a scenic retreat, the James P.
