Aquatics Center Coordinator (part-time)
St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting résumés for the part-time contingent position of Aquatics Center Coordinator. Responsibilities include managing and coordinating the operations, events, programming and staffing for the aquatics center, oversees all aquatic programs in the aquatics center, and enforcing the policies and procedures of the aquatics center.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. Pool Operator Certification or equivalent required. Instructor certified in the following: American Red Cross (ARC) Lifeguard Training, CPR/AED and First Aid, WSI, LGI, and ARC Water Safety. One to two years’ experience in athletic facility and aquatics center management required with experience in collegiate setting preferred. Must possess a valid driver’s license, ability to work weekends and nights, and ability to lift approximately 30 pounds. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination, medical and religious exemptions will be considered.
