Media Tech Instruction Coordinator and Support Specialist
St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting resumes for the position of Media Tech Instruction Coordinator and Support Specialist. This is a full-time, contingent position with an hourly rate of $15 per hour with limited benefits, to begin immediately. Work hours are 10:00 am-6:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Responsibilities include administration of Media Tech Instruction program, responding to Office of Information Technology Help Desk tickets for immediate assistance with technology on campus, working with the Media Infrastructure Specialist to repair and maintain equipment, and providing general assistance with day-to-day operations of the Media Center.
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum two years of experience in a media-related or IT field. Working knowledge of both Mac and PC operating systems and classroom media including computer, audio, and video systems. Strong analytic, verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to lift approximately 25 pounds. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the responsibilities of this position, may be accepted. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
