Office Administrator in Academic Affairs
St. Mary’s College of Maryland is accepting résumés for the position of Office Administrator in Academic Affairs. This position provides administrative support for the Office of the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs. This person manages budgets for the office and assists in programming, planning and development. The person must possess strong professional and administrative skills, be well organized, detail-oriented, able to work independently with minimal supervision, and able to handle confidential issues.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least 7 years of full-time employment in the secretarial/administration field. Strong computer, verbal and communication skills are essential. Experience with building/maintaining websites is a plus. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination, medical and religious exemptions will be considered.
