Office Associate II (contingent in CITL and IE)
St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting résumés for the full-time, contingent position of Office Associate II, serving the Offices of the Center for Inclusive Teaching and Learning (75%) and the Office of International Education (25%). Performs complex duties such as record keeping, budget administration, follow-up functions, and administrative detail. Makes travel arrangements, orders supplies and processes payments, and oversees communications within the departments. Must be well organized, able to multi-task and to learn new things. Receives minimal supervision and independently exercises considerable discretion and judgment in all work areas; may handle confidential and sensitive issues.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED equivalency required; Associates Degree preferred. Applicant must have thorough working knowledge of modern office practices and various computer software packages, be well-organized and attend to details, able to handle sensitive situations, and possess strong verbal and written communications skills with at least five (5) years of full-time employment in the secretarial/administration field. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check and proof of COVID-19 vaccination, medical and religious exemptions will be considered.
