St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting resumes for the part-time position of Registered Nurse (RN) in our campus Wellness Center. This is a contingent part-time (32 hours per week) position that may include limited benefits.
St. Mary’s College Wellness Center provides holistic health, mental health, and advocacy services to students on campus. The duties and responsibilities for the staff RN position include providing limited health care and health education to students of the college during walk-in clinic hours. The Staff RN will provide COVID-19 testing for symptomatic people using appropriate protective equipment and procedures. The Staff RN will work cooperatively and collaboratively with the Director of the Wellness Center and the contract health care providers and provider referrals for students as needed. The Staff RN must maintain accurate and timely electronic health records and provide screening and brief intervention for drug and alcohol reported usage.
Qualifications: Applicants for this position must hold a current license in the State of Maryland as a registered nurse. Two to three years’ experience working as a registered nurse. Experience working with college age students is a plus. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check. Salary: $30.00 per hour.
