Director of International Education
Danielle attended the University of Alabama and the American University in Cairo, where she concentrated on International Studies and Arabic, in addition to studying abroad in Morocco. She is also nearing completion of her Masters of Science degree in Global Studies and International Relations with a concentration on Global Student Mobility at Northeastern University. Danielle previously worked as a manager at a study abroad provider where she was responsible for student advising and retention. Danielle joins the Office of International Education most recently from an all boys military boarding school where she designed and implemented the Arabic language and culture program.
Melissa Golowski, B.A.
Study Abroad Advisor
Melissa is a graduate of McDaniel College, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in History and International Relations and a minor in French. In the spring semester of her junior year of college Melissa studied abroad at McDaniel College Budapest in Hungary. Upon her return, Melissa served as a study abroad peer advisor in the office of International Programs at McDaniel. Melissa could not be more excited to continue her passion for international education at St. Mary’s and help send students anywhere in the world that they would like to travel.
Sahra has been with SMCM since 2008, working as the Receiving and Dispersal Clerk at the Physical Plant before recently joining the Office of International Education. In 2015, she also became a Notary Public. In her free time she enjoys scrap-booking, taking pictures, and spending quality time with her dog.
