Your place as a St. Mary’s Seahawk is secured once you complete the following steps. These can be done online through our secure College Portal or by mail.
Step One: Log into your Portal Account
- In your web browser, go to: http://seahawks.smcm.edu
- In the upper right corner of the screen, type the username and password provided to you in your acceptance letter, and click on the Login button.
- Follow the steps within the Portal to agree to the St. Mary’s computer use policy, accept your offer of admission, and make your online commitment deposit. It can take up to 24 hours for your payment to be processed.
To submit your non-refundable $500 commitment deposit by mail, please contact Admissions for the Statement of Commitment.
Step Two: Set up secure access to your St. Mary’s accounts
Once your commitment deposit is processed, your St. Mary’s College Google Apps for Education and Blackboard accounts will be created, typically within two business days after your commitment deposit has been processed. You will receive an email sent to the personal email address that you provided during your application process with instructions about how to set up secure access to your accounts and synchronize your passwords using the St. Mary’s Password Manager.
