Office Hours and Staffing
Due to our need to comply with college, local, state, federal, and CDC guidelines, the Office of Student Support Services (OS3) will be open and staffed as follows for Fall 2020:
- Mondays, 9 AM – 5 PM: Joanne Goldwater
- Tuesdays, 9 AM – 5 PM: Twinkle Raheja
- Wednesdays, 9 AM – 5 PM: Mary Dorsey
- Thursdays: Closed, except for scheduled appointments
- Fridays: Closed, except for scheduled appointments
Students, faculty, staff, visitors are strongly encouraged to schedule appointments on Mondays, Tuesday, and Wednesdays in order to reduce the likelihood of people gathering in close proximity to each other and to reduce wait times.
All visitors to OS3 will be required to wear a face mask that covers the mouth and nose. Visitors who are unable to wear a face mask will need to schedule a virtual appointment. Visitors refusing to comply with wearing a face mask will be instructed to leave the office.
Students, faculty, staff, and visitors can meet virtually (via Zoom) with any staff member in OS3. Please call 240-895-4388 to schedule a Zoom meeting. In-person (Mask-to-Mask) appointments and walk-ins will be handled on a very limited basis. Due to the need to maintain 6’ of separation at all times, only one student, faculty/staff member, or visitor can be in a private office at any one time. Only two people can be in the reception area at any one time. If at any time there are more than two visitors trying to come into the office at the same time, a line will be formed outside the office at 6 feet intervals (see markings on the floor outside the office).
