The Archaeology Program<\/strong><\/h2><\/div><\/div>

The Anthropology Department offers several opportunities to gain experience in the field. Formal field schools include the\u00a0Summer Survey Course in southern Maryland<\/a>,\u00a0Colonial Maryland NSF-REU, or\u00a0the Historic St. Mary\u2019s City Field School<\/a>. Students also gain field experience in ANTH385: Anthropological Research Methods and work with collections in ANTH202: Archaeology Practicum, and ANTH 357: Analysis and Curation.
