Psi Chi<\/strong> International Honor Society<\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology, was founded in 1929 to advance the science of psychology and promote academic excellence. While it began as a community for psychology students conducting research, it has since expanded to support scholarship, service, and professional development.<\/p>\n

With over 1,150 chapters and more than 750,000 lifetime members, Psi Chi is one of the largest and most respected honor societies in the U.S. It is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and an affiliate of the APA and APS.<\/p>\n

Psi Chi publishes Eye on Psi Chi<\/em>, a quarterly magazine highlighting member achievements, and the Psi Chi Journal of Psychological Research<\/em>, which features peer-reviewed work by undergraduate, graduate, and faculty members.<\/p>\n

The Society\u2019s name reflects its mission: Psyche<\/strong> (mind) represents scholarship, and Cheires<\/strong> (hands) symbolizes fellowship and research.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div><\/div><\/div>
