What are Committees<\/strong>?<\/h2><\/div><\/div>

Committees are essential working groups within the Student Government Association (SGA), each created with a specific purpose to support and enhance the overall student experience and campus community. These committees are designed to address particular areas of student life, campus improvement, or institutional development, ensuring that student interests remain at the forefront of campus affairs.<\/p>\n

Each committee is led by one or more Committee Chairs, who are typically members of the Executive Board or the Senate. In addition to the Chairs, committees include Senators, who help carry out the committee\u2019s objectives, and Student Representatives, who play a crucial role in contributing ideas, assisting with initiatives, and most importantly, amplifying the voice of the student body.<\/p>\n

Committees serve as vital bridges between students and their government, offering students an opportunity to participate in decision-making, propose new initiatives, and actively contribute to positive change on campus. Whether it\u2019s addressing campus sustainability, academic policies, or student events, committees ensure that every student has the chance to be heard and involved.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
