The collected food scraps are brought to the Kate Chandler Campus Community Farm, where they are transformed into compost that enriches soil and supports campus food production.<br \/>\nThis program builds on existing efforts and is part of a broader USDA SARE funded initiative to expand composting access across campus in the coming months and years.<br \/>\nIf you are interested in participating, need a compost bucket, or have questions about what can be composted, please contact sustainability@smcm.edu<\/p>\n<h2>The Green St. Mary\u2019s Revolving Fund (GSMRF)<\/h2>\n<p>A SMCM-specific grant available for community members who have a proposal that will increase campus sustainability, especially as it pertains to cost-savings for the college.\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.smcm.edu\/sustainability\/education_research\/gsmrf\/\">You can read more about it and find the application.<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Sustainability Consultations<\/h2>\n<p>Available by request by emailing <a href=\"mailto:sustainability@smcm.edu\">sustainability@smcm.edu<\/a>.
