About the Conference
The 6th Chesapeake Writers’ Conference hosts writers at all levels of experience for a rich week of lectures, craft talks, readings, and panel discussions, as well as daily workshops in fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. We’ll again offer a workshop designed for high school-aged youth; this will be a multi-genre course in which participants try their hand at a range of writing genres and styles. All conference workshops are led by exemplary faculty. Course credit for those enrolled in a degree program is also available.
- Register before midnight on March 31 and receive a $100 early bird discount on tuition.
- New workshop for 2017: A teachers-only workshop that offers graduate credit for continuing professional development.
