The Montgomery Hall multi-media lab is a Macintosh computer lab which is heavily used by International Languages and Cultures (ILC) students. Digital audio and video materials that tie in with the departmental curriculum are available, as well as a number of software programs targeted at foreign language learners, ranging from foreign language wordprocessors to pronunciation tutors incorporating speech recognition. ILC students also use the Montgomery Hall lab to produce audio and video assignments for their classes; a range of sophisticated editing tools are available for student projects.
