L.E.A.P. (Learning
Enrichment After School Program)
International Languages and Cultures
students have the opportunity each spring semester to teach their
own class of Chinese, French, German, or Spanish to children ages
7-10 in one of four local elementary schools as part of an outreach
program sponsored by the Office of Community Services and the Department
of International Languages and Cultures. Students teach one afternoon
a week for eight weeks and earn one academic credit. Announcements
about signing up for the L.E.A.P. program are made in language classes
at the beginning of the spring semester.
