ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF

 

 

Director of Public Safety Christopher Santiago

Prior to joining Public Safety in 2010, Director Santiago worked as the Assistant Director of Campus Safety for Keene State College in New Hampshire since 2003.  Director Santiago has 11 years of law enforcement experience.  Director Santiago received his Bachelors Degree in criminal justice from Mt. Ida College in 1998 and will complete his MBA in 2011.

 

 

 

Sergeant Eric "Tony" Brooks (eabrooks@smcm.edu)

Sergeant Brooks "Tony" has been with Public Safety since 1990. Sergeant Brooks is a Certified Police Officer under the Maryland Police Training Commission and has full arrest powers on campus property. Sergeant Brooks is in charge of the day-to-day operations of Public Safety.

 

 

 

Office Associate, Nancy Lee Raley (nlraley@smcm.edu)

Nancy has been with Public Safety since 2004. Prior to working with Public Safety Nancy worked for the St. Mary's College Arts Alliance.

Corporal Keenan Enoch #45 (kenoch@smcm.edu)

Corporal Enoch has been with Public Safety Since 2005. Cpl. Enoch is responsible for shift supervision of the officers. Cpl. Enoch is a certified instructor in the use of OC Spray.

 

 

 

Corporal Joseph L. Wheeler #52 (jlwheeler@smcm.edu)

Corporal Wheeler has been with Public Safety since 2009. Cpl. Wheeler is responsible for shift supervision of the officers.  Prior to joining Public Safety, Cpl. Wheeler worked for the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office as a Correctional Officer and Supervisor for 22 years.

 

 

 

Public Safety Officer Michael A. Colvin #42 (macolvin@smcm.edu)

Officer Michael "Mike" Colvin has been with Public Safety since 2004. Prior to joining Public Safety, Officer Colvin worked as a Public Safety Officer for Juniata College In PA. Officer Colvin is certified instructor in Expandable Baton and Handcuffing.

 

 

 

Public Safety Officer Christopher Coons #43 (ccoons@smcm.edu)

Officer Coons has been with Public Safety since 2005. Prior to joining Public Safety, Officer Coons was employed as a Police Officer in PA. Officer Coons is a certified instructor in Expandable Baton and Handcuffing.  Officer Coons was selected Officer of the year in 2009.

 

 

 

Public Safety Officer Mary C. Johnston #44 (mcjohnston@smcm.edu)

Officer Johnston or "Officer Mary" has been with Public Safety since 2005.  Officer Johnston is a certified instructor in the use of OC Spray. Officer Johnston was selected the Officer of the Year in 2008.

Officer Brewster has been with Public Safety since 2009.

DISPATCH STAFF

 

 

 

Dispatcher David F. Turner  (dfturner@smcm.edu)

Dispatcher Turner has been with Public Safety Full time since 2010.  Prior to joining Public safety full time Dispatcher Turner worked as a student dispatcher since 2008.

 

 

 

Dispatcher Richard L. Hall (rlhall@smcm.edu)

Dispatcher Hall Re-joined Public Safety in 2008 as a Part-Time dispatcher. Prior to his Retirement in 2006, Dispatcher Hall worked as a Full-time Public Safety dispatcher from 2001 until 2006. Prior to joining Public Safety Dispatcher Hall worked For the College IT Department From 1997 until 2001.
