Mark A. Rhoda is adjunct associate professor of theater, film, and media studies and theater operations specialist for the department. In addition to his responsibilities supervising front-of-house operations, Mark teaches courses in film history, topics in film and media, dramatic literature, theory, and criticism, and performance and cultural studies. He is also a director, performer, and scholar. Mark has mentored St. Mary's Projects (SMP) on orignal screenwriting, documentary and experimental filmmaking, and senior theses on Third World cinemas and Slash cultures and practices. Mark has taught at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, the University of Denver, and the University of California, Berkeley. He received his B.A. in theater from Middlebury College and his M.A. and Ph.D. in dramatic arts from the University of California, Berkeley. (Office: MH 165)
