What is an arboretum?
An arboretum is a place where trees, plants, and shrubs are identified and maintained for their educational and aesthetic value. At St. Mary’s College of Maryland, we partner with Historic St. Mary’s City and the St. Mary’s Parish to maintain our own campus-wide arboretum.
