Prevention:
- Get your flu shot- it's not too late!
- Extra hand washing
- Maintain immunity-eat well, sleep and exercise
Do I have the Flu?
Signs and symptoms: more intense than a cold, sudden onset
- Fatique, weakness
- Severe body aches, soreness
- Combination symptoms - headache, dry cough, chest discomfort
- Chills/Fever -all of a sudden
What if I get the Flu?
Treatment: REST, REST, REST
- Increase fluids
- Tylenol, Motrin, or Advil
- Salt water gargles, lozenges
- Don't smoke
