Marianna Nystrom

Marianna Nystrom is a third generation harpist, composer, and teacher with a large private teaching studio in St. Mary's County, MD. She received her Bachelor's degree with honors in piano performance from Connecticut College and a Master's degree in music education from Jacksonville University.
After inheriting her grandmother's Clark harp, she was inspired to continue the family tradition and embraced the harp as her primary instrument. She has been teaching harp for twenty years, and is also a a Certified Music Practitioner, providing live healing harp music at the bedside to the ill and dying. Marianna is a published composer and the principle harpist on Innisfree's two CD's: Celtic Dreams and Full Circle.
