We're Here to Help: Support to Howard University Students Facing Enrollment Disruptions

If your enrollment at Howard University has been affected by recent events, we're here to help you explore your next steps.

At St. Mary's College of Maryland, we understand that unexpected changes can disrupt even the best-laid plans. As the National Public Honors College, we're committed to helping students stay on track toward earning their degree.

Eligible students may receive a one-time $1000 transition credit, a waived application fee, and personalized guidance from our Admission team as they explore their options and determine whether St. Mary's College is the right fit.

Who is Eligible?

First Time in College (First Year) students who had planned on enrolling at Howard university and had their enrollment cancelled by the University in recent weeks.

Next Steps

Our daily visits are offered Monday through Friday and select Saturdays. Daily visits begin with a brief information session with an Admission Counselor, followed by a walking tour led by our student ambassadors.

Annual Security & Fire Safety Report

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Act, SMCM publishes an Annual Security & Fire Safety Report. The report contains information regarding campus safety and security including crime reporting, crime prevention, college policies, drug and alcohol abuse, and sexual misconduct. The report also contains the three previous years’ crime and fire statistics for on campus locations, non-campus locations and adjacent public property.
