Elizabeth Clune-Kneuer
Elizabeth Clune-Kneuer is the Associate Director of Institutional Research. She completed her baccalaureate degree from the University of Delaware with a dual major in Economics and East Asian studies. She also possesses a Master of Education from the University of Virginia in Social Foundations. In 2009, she received a Fellowship from the Association of Institutional Research and the National Center for Education Statistics to support her Graduate Certificate from the Pennsylvania State University in Institutional Research, which she received in the summer of 2011. In the summer of 2011, Elizabeth was awarded a Fellowship to the National Data Policy Institute, which is operated by the Association of Institutional Research (AIR) with support from the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).
Elizabeth is primarily responsible for federal, state, and institutional reporting; college guides; and surveys (Senior Exit; 1-, 5-, and 10-year-out alumni surveys; National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE); and Beginning College Survey of Student Engagement (BCSSE). Additionally, Elizabeth serves the College through participation as an administrative hearing officer and is an active member of the College's Strategic Planning Committee. She is the current president for the 2011-2012 Maryland Association of Institutional Research (MdAIR) Board of Directors. Elizabeth also is an active member of the North East Association of Institutional Research (NEAIR) and will serve on the Nominations Committee for 2011-12. In addition to college and professional affiliation service, Elizabeth has also served as a New England Assocation of School and Colleges (NEASC) accreditation team reviewer.

Clayton Hartley
Clayton Hartley is the Assistant Director of Institutional Reporting. After serving in the U.S. Navy, Clay worked at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR) in Biologics Research before coming to SMCM. Clay received dual baccalaureate degrees from the University of Maryland, University College in Microbiology and Information Systems Management. In 2009, he received his Master of Science degree from the University of Maryland, University College in Database Systems Technology.
He currently is responsible for the business intelligence administration and support for the College.
