St. Mary's in The GAMBIA
St. Mary's in The Gambia, West Africa combine integrated coursework with the University of The Gambia, with study of the Wolof language and Gambian society, and opportunities for service-learning and individualized research projects.

Traveling Abroad with a St. Mary's Semester Program
Interested in teaching abroad?
We invite faculty members who are interested in teaching abroad as part of a St. Mary's in.. Programs to discuss their course ideas with the program director of the program they are interested in.
The program directors are:
- Gambia: Bill Roberts
- Italy: Jeff Silberschlag
- Thailand: Ho Nguyen and John Schroeder
Planning and Implementation Resources
Faculty who teach abroad for a semester as part of a St. Mary's program have a variety of support throughout the program development and implementation processes.
The Director of International Education, Mandy Reinig, and program directors will also serve as main contacts for you.
Forms due to IE Office
All study tour participants -- leaders and students -- are required to complete a set of forms for the College prior to departure.
Please submit the following forms by the end of the semester prior to your departure:
- Online Profile
- Online Study Abroad Program Application
- Assumption of Risk and Release
- Online Registration with State Dept
