Business Administration and Management Major
The goal of the business administration and management major is to facilitate students’ future success by equipping them with both practical business training and the high-level skills that are the hallmark of a rigorous liberal arts education. To this end, the business administration and management major offers a core of courses that combines the study of business in applied contexts with the theoretical analysis of industries, markets, and the economy, further enriched by an interdisciplinary approach that emphasizes the importance of an international perspective.

The Business Administration and Management Major provides a suitable basis for careers in business, non-profit organizations, finance, contracting, and government and military agencies.
Students who are considering graduate study in business are strongly advised to take coursework in mathematics and statistics beyond those required for the major.
