Due to the coronavirus, we’ve modified our traditional campus visit offerings and assembled several new options to help you experience SMCM from the comforts of your own home:
On-Campus Visits
The best way to experience the St. Mary’s College of Maryland community is to see it for yourself. The Office of Admission is excited to announce that we are hosting visitors on campus. Sign up for a tour of our beautiful waterfront campus, attend an information session, get all of your questions answered, and discover the amazing things we have to offer.
Due to COVID-19, guidelines have been established to help keep our community and each other safe. Sessions and tours will be limited to only one or two families at a time and will be scheduled by appointment only. Please do not come to campus without registering, as we will not be able to accommodate walk-in visitors. Due to the limited capacity for tours at this time, only two guests will be allowed in the information session and tour. Also, we are reserving in-person tours for first year students and transfer students who are entering in the Spring or Fall of 2021. We look forward to hosting students enrolling at later dates when we are allowed to have larger groups.
Please note that tours may not go through all of our buildings, particularly the residence halls and Great Room (dining hall). All persons on campus must wear masks or face coverings and maintain physical distancing whenever possible throughout their visit.
Information sessions and tours are offered Monday through Friday and on select Saturdays. Check the schedule for tour times for the day you wish to visit. We’re excited to meet you and look forward to showing you our campus!

Our Live Virtual Information Sessions and tours are your opportunity to get tons of general information and have your questions answered by an admission counselor and a student ambassador. If you have not visited our campus, this would be a great choice!
