The Department of Anthropology’s Visiting Anthropologist program brings Archaeologist Paul Mullins from Indiana University-Purdue University, Indianapolis, to St. Mary’s College for a public lecture, “The Politics of Race and Shopping: An Archaeology of Consumer Culture and the Color Line.” Dr. Mullins is the author of several books, including The Archaeology of Consumer Culture (2011) and Glazed America: A History of the Doughnut (2008).
