Absence Notifications
OS3 notifies faculty on a student’s behalf when they miss class due to medical, legal, or personal/family issues. Students must notify OS3 by emailing os3@smcm.edu within 24 hours of missing the class with the exact dates of their absence unless they are hospitalized or have similar extenuating circumstances that do not allow them to communicate. Please reference the current copy of our “To the Point – Student Handbook” for the College’s formal attendance policy.
