After 16 competitive races over two full days of sailing at Fort Adams State Park in Newport, RI the Seahawks finish 7th at the 2019 Gill Coed National Championship! It was a great performance from the Seahawks; with a total of 266 points for the regatta, the Seahawks were only 10 points out of 4th place. In A division Liam McCarthy (’19) and Kaisey McCallion (’19) finished 6th. In B division Leo Boucher (’22), Chase Cooper (’21), Ashley Wagner (’20), and Lydia McPherson-Shambarger (’19) finished 3rd. The 2019 college sailing national championships have officially ended; what a great season for the Seahawks, and a great nationals performance from our beloved seniors. We will miss our seniors and thank them for a great four years.
