Tim Heely is a retired U.S. Navy Rear Admiral, with over 45 years of government and industry experience.
As a Navy pilot, he flew Strike Fighter jets from aircraft carriers in the Pacific And Indian Oceans, commanding an F/A-18 Squadron during the Gulf Wars.
He retired after 33 years in the Navy and entered industry, leading several companies involved with the manufacture and support of autonomous aviation systems.
Tim currently sits on numerous non profit boards and commissions, including Chair of Historic St. Mary’s City Commission, President of St. Mary’s County Historical Society, the Southern Maryland Navy Alliance, Donate Life Maryland (promoting and supporting organ transient donors and recipients), and others.
He has a BS degree in American Political Systems from the U.S. Naval Academy and an MS degree in Aeronautical Engineering from the U S. Naval Postgraduate School.
He and his wife reside in Compton, Maryland.
