The Office of Community Outreach & Engagement is dedicated to ensuring our students are active, engaged citizens who participate in democratic processes and public policy-making. We have partnered with the Center for the Study of Democracy and the Multicultural Programs Office to offer information and programming related to voting and civic engagement.

- Those interested in becoming a voter registration volunteer or serving as elections judges should reach out to the St. Mary’s County Board of Elections.
- Various community groups support civic engagement through promoting political parties, registering voters and encouraging voting, providing nonpartisan information about candidates or endorsing candidates for elected office.
