Field Hockey Goalkeeper Coach (part-time, contingent)
St. Mary's College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary's City is accepting résumés for the part-time contingent position of Field Hockey Goalkeeper Coach. Responsibilities include serving as a goalkeeper coach in a competitive NCAA Division III Field Hockey program. Duties include coaching the goalkeepers, including, but not limited to, organizing and planning practices and game strategies, scouting of opponents, and video breakdown and editing. This is a part-time contingent position, averaging about 8-10 hours a week with no benefits provided, and pays $18 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge of NCAA and UEC rules and regulations. College experience as a goalkeeper or goalkeeper coach, and video breakdown and editing experience preferred. Minimum availability would need to be 8-10 hours per week, including games. Must be available to travel, and work some nights and weekends. Must possess a valid driver’s license and ability to lift approximately 30 pounds. Any combination of acceptable education and experience, which has provided the necessary knowledge and skills to fulfill the requirements of this position, may be considered. Employment will be contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check.
