Strengthening Account Security Across Campus
To enhance cybersecurity and safeguard College systems, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) is implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for all faculty, staff, and students. Starting December 1, 2025, MFA will be required to access College accounts. This added layer of protection ensures that only you can access your information—even if your password is compromised.
Why Multi-Factor Authentication?
Cybersecurity threats are rapidly evolving, and safeguarding your personal and institutional data is more critical than ever. MFA adds an essential layer of defense by requiring two verification steps—something you know (your password) and something you have (your mobile device). This simple step greatly reduces the risk of unauthorized access and data breaches.
