Seahawk Safe – Mobile App

The Seahawk Safe Mobile App, powered by Campus Shield, serves as an emergency communication tool between St. Mary’s College community and the Office of Public Safety. The St. Mary's College Office of Public Safety strongly encourages all members of the campus community to participate in our Seahawk Alert emergency notification program. Seahawk Alerts may be sent in the event of: emergency situations, serious weather alerts or school closings or delays. Seahawk Alerts may be sent through any or all of the following methods: text messaging, email, social media or college website.

• Emergency Calling with location tracking
• Receive SEAHAWK ALERTS from Public Safety
• Submit a Tip with photos and / videos
• Friend Watch Safety Check
• Student Handbook/Emergency Procedures

For staff, faculty, and students please follow these simple steps to download and configure the app on your device (if other, please sign up here):

1. Download CampusShield from Google Play or the Apple App Store
2. Enter name, college email, and mobile phone number
3. Enter verification code
4. Select whether you are a Faculty/Staff or a Student
5. Toggle “slide in emergency” which will prompt you to enter a 4 digit pin
6. Save
