Government Related Internships
The Shriver Center at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County is once again coordinating the Walter Sondheim Jr. Maryland Public Service Scholars Program for the State of Maryland. This program includes the Maryland Nonprofit Leadership Program, the Governor’s Summer Internship Program, and the MDOT Fellows Program, all designed to provide opportunities for Maryland students to gain experience in public service. The three PAID leadership intern programs below are taking place this summer.

The Center for the Study of Democracy invites you to apply for William Donald Schaefer Summer Internship for Government Service. The award carries a stipend of $1000. GPA must be at least 3.3 and you must be willing to work for at least six weeks during the summer in either St. Mary's County, Annapolis, Baltimore or Washington D.C. Any major may apply for this award. Please provide a hard copy of your application to Ms. Adrienne Raines, Room 103, Kent Hall. A completed written application is due Monday, March 24.
