Dr. Jordan was selected by her alma mater, Fisk University, as an inaugural Talented Tenth Award recipient.  The Award, bestowed upon alumni who live or work in the Eastern region, honors individuals who have made exceptional contributions in their community and profession.  The Gala raises funds to support Fisk University in critical areas like scholarships and provides networking opportunities for members of the Fisk community.  The event was held in Arlington, VA.
