Dr. Jordan served on a panel with lawmakers and other executives at this report release event at the National Press Club.  The panelists focused on the evaluation of policy proposals designed to provide long-term, sustainable finance models for higher education in the United States.  There was a specific focus on reaching low-income and minority students.  The event was held in Washington, DC.

Dr. Jordan served on a panel at the National Press Club in DC to help unveil a national release of a report from the National Commission on Financing 21st Century Higher Education. She was the only college president invited. The other panelists were Mike Castle, former Governor of Delaware; John Engler, fomer Governor of Michigan and president of the Business Roundtable; Brian Fitzgerald, CEO of the Business-Higher Ed Forum; and Bob Graham, former Governor of Florida.
