“My work is related to researching contemporary aspects of personal memory. Through mostly self-portraits I also research new aspects of traditional printing and drawing techniques. I am interested in merging old graphic techniques with contemporary stories. Primarily, I am interested in human memory. Assuming that the man recapitulates his life at point of death, I am presenting the memories that one would perceive as most important in their lives. I am also interested in whether there is a universal model of the most important memories that can be applied to every person.” – Miran Sabic
