Bethany Springer’s work lies somewhere between romanticism and realism, an inquiry into place and identity as influenced by history, heritage, globalization, and the information age. She earned a BFA in Studio Art from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and a MFA from The University of Georgia, Athens. She is currently an Associate Professor in Sculpture at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
