Bring your lunch and join us for a discussion with Jay Noble!
Jay Noble is a visual artist and educator living in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. His artwork spans the continuum between abstraction, figuration and the beauty of seeing. He earned his MFA from American University in Washington DC and also studied at the New York Studio School and Chautauqua School of Art. At these schools he worked most extensively and attentively with Glen Goldberg, Barbara Grossman, Deborah Kahn, Stanley Lewis, and Graham Nickson amongst whom he found the greatest resonance to form his own vision. His artwork has been exhibited solo and group shows up and down the East Coast and the Midwest. After a decade as a passionate adjunct level educator in the college setting he decided, “I had more to offer and saw an important need.” This led him to found Mount Gretna School of Art where he currently serves as Executive Director.
