Essye Klempner lives and works in New York, NY. In 2006, she received a BFA from the School of Visual Arts; She began a MFA at Hunter College, and finished her degree teaching painting at Rutgers University’s Mason Gross School of the Arts. Her materials can include cyanotypes and ceramics to installations of benches, booklets, video, and oil paintings based off of mathematics and music history. Exhibitions have included: TSA, Underdonk, Temporary Agency, 321 Gallery, Mason Gross at Civic Square, and most recently Vessels at Blackston Gallery. Check her out at http://www.essyeklempner.com
