Catherine Drabkin is a painter, printmaker and educator. She received her BFA from the Maryland Institute/College of Art and her MFA from Queens College/CUNY. She has been represented by Kraushaar Galleries in New York where she has had 7 solo shows – other recent solo exhibitions include Art Space Harrisburg Area Community College, Lancaster, PA, the Madeline Cohen Gallery, Community College of Philadelphia and the Blair Gallery, Hoyt Arts Center in New Castle, Pennsylvania. She has participated in group exhibitions at the Biggs Museum of Art in Dover, the Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington, the Maison de Bretagne in Paris, Lori Bookstein Gallery and the National Academy of Design in New York. A founding faculty of the Delaware College of Art and Design, she has also taught at the University of Nebraska/Omaha, Southern Connecticut State University, Dartmouth College and Point Park University. Drabkin will give an artist talk on March 1, 12-1pm as part of the Brown Bag Lunchtime Talks in Glendening Annex, and will also led a special one-day workshop on Light and Shadow on Saturday, March 5, 2016. http://www.catherinedrabkin.com
