Music Minor

We are one of the departments at St. Mary’s College that offers a minor degree. It is a popular student choice. Students earn a minor in music with either a performance focus or an academic focus.

Non Majors

All of our activities are open to music minors and non-majors. You can study an instrument or voice, sing in our choirs, play in our orchestra, jam with the jazz combo – whatever the majors can do, you can do also, including participation in the summer activities. In fact, MOST of our students are not performing arts majors – and in any given semester, between 15 and 20% of the student body is involved in music study.
