Auditions for American playwright Sophie Treadwell’s Machinal will take place on Wednesday and Thursday, February 10-11, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. in the Bruce Davis Theater, MH. In order to audition, you’ll need to SIGN UP FOR A FULL HOUR TIME SLOT. A sign-up sheet is posted on the director’s office door, MH176 (right across from the Bruce Davis Theater). Come dressed comfortably and prepared to move and to be creative! Callbacks will be held on Sunday, February 14, from 3-6 pm in the Theater. Machinal will perform April 20-24.
PLEASE NOTE: A public reading of the play will be held on Sunday, February 7, from 3-5 pm in the Bruce Davis Theater for those interested in being involved in the production. If you can’t attend the reading, but are interested in reading the play before auditioning, copies of the play are available at the circulation desk of the library; just ask for the “Theater Production” binder, and a librarian will be happy to assist.
