The William F. Everhart Memorial Scholarship
The William F. Everhart Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students with demonstrated financial need (filing an annual FAFSA) with a preference for students considering a major in studio art. Established in 2007 in memory of Bill, an art major, by the Everhart family to benefit studio art majors who have financial need. This scholarship is renewable, meaning if a student still meets the criteria and is in good standing, they can receive it in multiple years.
Joseph Avram Bryan Memorial Scholarship
Established in 2021 by Joseph K.Bryan ’74, the Joseph Avram Bryan Memorial Scholarship benefits first-year or transfer students who have academic merit and demonstrated promise in the visual arts.
McCutcheon Family Art Award
Awarded annually to a Junior or Senior art major who demonstrates artistic promise. Awarded by the studio art faculty through an online portfolio submission process and announced at the annual student exhibition opening.
William Thomas Rowe Endowed Scholarship in Art
Awarded annually to a junior or senior art major for the purpose of defraying the cost of his or her art education. Awarded by the studio art faculty through an online portfolio submission process. Works submitted must include 5 examples of artworks created from direct observation (figures, still-lives, landscapes etc.) and 5 examples of artworks that demonstrate outstanding artistic ability in any media area.
Capstone Studio Art Travel/Study Award
Awarded to Art students undertaking Capstone 1 and II to help students with costs associated with travel and study in completing their Capstones. Studio art travel proposals are submitted along with the Senior Capstone proposals in the spring semester (March 1, 2020) prior to the start of the Capstone and are judged based both on their impact on Capstone projects and the student’s academic record.
Senior Art Award
Voted on by the art faculty and given to a senior who has completed Capstone 1 and 2 and demonstrated both an exceptional body of work and excelled in professional outreach.
